Meher KaLvakuntla, Senior Product Manager @ American Express, 2021

I have worked closely with Chloe for 2+ years at Amex on Send & Split, which is one of the largest and most complex features in the Amex Mobile app. During this time, I enjoyed collaborating with her to define the nuances of UX and APIs for the product. She was crucial to the success and launch of the project, and owned several API integrations across multiple systems. With a keen attention to detail, she is known to rigorously test the software during UAT to ensure a high quality product, and has thereby rightfully earned the title of “Bug Queen”! I’ve seen her effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders of varying seniority to achieve the desired outcome. She is witty, articulate and a passionate product leader who always puts the customer first, and is the type of colleague that you can trust and rely on, because she genuinely cares. Her superpower is empathy, which she successfully uses to build lasting relationships. I couldn’t recommend Chloe highly enough, and I cannot wait to see all the exciting things that she does next!

Christopher Homberg, Co-owner & Product management @ Lookfar, 2019

I worked with Chloe for just over a year while we were both at LookFar. She was my lead Product Manager. LookFar was a custom software development company, operating under a services model.

Those in Product Management will agree that one of the biggest challenges of being a Product Manager, is stakeholder management. In a services model, the Product Manager has multiple sets of stakeholders, from various companies, at various product development stages. Your only chance of being successful is by bringing a combination of project management, education, focus, and multi-tasking skills to each and every project. Chloe possesses all of the above, and brings a unique combination of tenacity, toughness, and empathy to her stakeholders. This combination is not something easily achieved. However, for Chloe, this comes naturally.

While working with me at LookFar, Chloe drove multiple concurrent projects to completion, on-time, and on-budget. This included our largest client to date, whom proved to be a very difficult client to manage. But, as usual, Chloe found a way to manage the project and the product owner, which ultimately drove the project to a successful deployment. I would hire her back in heartbeat, if I was lucky enough for her to cross my work path again.

Chloe and I worked together on several projects during our years together at LookFar. It was a pleasure to watch her grow in the role, and she was a valuable asset to our team. She always strives to do what is best for the customer, while guiding them in how to accomplish their goals within their budget and timeline -- a balancing act that is no easy feat! She does it all with humor and an understanding manner. Not only does she work on making her projects better, she also strives to improve process along the way. She heavily influenced our project management workflows and took ownership of our JIRA administration. She also took it upon herself to attend a coding boot-camp so that she would better understand the technical problems we were facing as developers.

At the community level, her work with Women in Technology is admirable and commendable. Chloe was a great co-worker, and is a highly motivated and intelligent person who would be a great addition to any team.
